PRESS RELEASE: March 14, 2009
Moates.net releases engine simulator for B-series and compatible ECUs.

ECU Test ROM:
Burn the ROM from the above link to a chip before testing the VTEC output of the ECU.
The stock ROM in the ECU expects the stars to be in alignment for VTEC to engage, the above ROM disables those checks and will always engage VTEC above 5000 RPM. Do not run the above ROM on an actual vehicle!
This is the perfect tool for testing ECUs without having to physically connect the ECU to your vehicle.
Package Includes:
- Engine Simulator with connectors (as shown above)
- 12V Power Supply for bench testing (not shown)
Features:
- VTEC and EGR so you can test VTEC output for P06 to P28 conversions, and you can check the PWM output for those running boost control with eCtune or Hondata.
- Solderable holes for probing individual signals with an oscilloscope.
- Microcontroller based crank trigger/RPM simulation.
- Thru hole resistors for easy changing of resistance and voltage based sensor signals .
Technical Specifications:
Outputs:
- CYP - Cylinder Position (used for RPM)
- TDC - Top Dead Center Position (used for RPM)
- CKP - Crank Position (used for RPM)
- TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
- MAP - Manifold Absolute Pressure
